Talcum Powder and nitrate dope for wood sanding sealer

If the dope if too thick you won't be able to mix in as much talc. And finally pour in small spoonfuls of talc and stir. Keep adding talc it gets to a thick but still easily spread brushing consistency where it doesn't lump up or "roll" along the surface. For applying this mixture you can't work it much at all.

Mixing epoxy with talc

I know that mixing talc with gel can make a good filler, but I am wondering if talc mixed with epoxy resin would work also. cheat sheet says 3 cups of talc per 3 bushel box evenly distributed or 16 cups per 50 unit box. Not sure what case ih recommends but can't imagine it's much different. Southern IL. Get a 40 lb. Bag of EZ Slide 80/20 talc/graphite from Sloanex for $42.99 per 40 lb. and use liberally.

I think Precision Planting guys recommend about 1/4 cup (=2 oz) per 80K kernels. Slightly less for larger seeds. Here is from their site: This special blend of talc and graphite improves seed loading and seed release – and that improves seed spacing. eFlow improves the flow of seed from the hopper to the meter.
